Position Summary

Leasing Agents are responsible for driving occupancy by managing the full leasing cycle—from first inquiry to move-in. This role is resident-facing and performance-driven, with a strong focus on lead conversion, customer service, and consistent follow-through.

You will work closely with property management and operations teams to ensure homes are leased efficiently and residents have a smooth, professional leasing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to new leads quickly via phone, text, email, and online inquiries

  • Schedule and conduct property tours (in-person and virtual, as applicable)

  • Qualify prospects and guide them through pricing, availability, and next steps

  • Process rental applications accurately and timely

  • Coordinate with property management on approvals, move-ins, and unit readiness

  • Maintain accurate records of all lead activity in the leasing/CRM system

  • Follow up consistently with prospects to improve conversion rates

  • Support lease execution and move-in documentation

  • Help maintain leasing signage, online listings, and marketing presentation

  • Deliver excellent service to current and prospective residents at all times

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of leasing, property management, sales, or customer-facing experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills (phone, text, email, and in-person)

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of results

  • Proficient with basic systems (email, calendars, CRM/property software)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (if traveling between properties)

Preferred Experience

  • Residential leasing experience (apartment, multifamily, or manufactured housing)

  • Experience with Fair Housing-compliant leasing practices

  • Familiarity with Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar property software (if relevant)
