Position Summary
Leasing Agents are responsible for driving occupancy by managing the full leasing cycle—from first inquiry to move-in. This role is resident-facing and performance-driven, with a strong focus on lead conversion, customer service, and consistent follow-through.
You will work closely with property management and operations teams to ensure homes are leased efficiently and residents have a smooth, professional leasing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to new leads quickly via phone, text, email, and online inquiries
Schedule and conduct property tours (in-person and virtual, as applicable)
Qualify prospects and guide them through pricing, availability, and next steps
Process rental applications accurately and timely
Coordinate with property management on approvals, move-ins, and unit readiness
Maintain accurate records of all lead activity in the leasing/CRM system
Follow up consistently with prospects to improve conversion rates
Support lease execution and move-in documentation
Help maintain leasing signage, online listings, and marketing presentation
Deliver excellent service to current and prospective residents at all times
Qualifications
1+ year of leasing, property management, sales, or customer-facing experience preferred
Strong communication skills (phone, text, email, and in-person)
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
Proficient with basic systems (email, calendars, CRM/property software)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (if traveling between properties)
Preferred Experience
Residential leasing experience (apartment, multifamily, or manufactured housing)
Experience with Fair Housing-compliant leasing practices
Familiarity with Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar property software (if relevant)
